Cinnamon Roll Protein Cake

Now you can enjoy cinnamon rolls (cake!) without having to worry about crashing due to the ridiculous amount of sugar that is usually in one of those bad boys. In fact, you'll be able to brag about how healthy your new Cinnamon Roll Cake is at your next dinner party. Sitting at just over 200 calories and less than 2g of fat per serving, go ahead, have a few slices! Plus, this cake is full of protein and healthy oats that will help you digest your previous dishes. Or better yet, reheat this for breakfast and feel good about how healthy you're starting your day off!

INGREDIENTS (serves 4)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 F.
  2. Blend oats, egg white, and water in blender until the consistency is smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into a bowl and whisk it together with the protein powder and 1 tsp. Stevia (the mixture should be like thick pancake batter).
  4. Pour half of the batter into a small (about 4.5 inches across) nonstick pan and sprinkle with two-thirds of the cinnamon and 1 tsp. Stevia. Pour the remaining batter over and sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon.
  5. Pull a knife through the batter a few times to slightly mix in the cinnamon and Stevia.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  7. If stored in the fridge, reheat for 30 sec in the microwave before serving.
